adwords

Google Adwords and Google Adsense is not the same Thing

When you search from Google you probably will see many Adwords on the search page. The Google Adwords are the small text ads that can be found on the top side, right side of your main search result page.

The ads can be found from the type of search you have made. These ads are contextual of course – in this case the context is the search terms you entered. This ads will search based on what you are looking for. For an example if you with a keyword “travel luggage”, you will get search result from the travel luggage plus the ads of Google Adwords too.

These generate money for Google and advertiser too. Google AdWords works on a model known as pay-per-click "PPC". When someone clicks on an AdWords ad, the advertiser of that ad has to pay Google a certain amount. It’s easy to track and fully automated.

The amount Google charge for ads to be place on their search engine varies depending on the market forces, these case bidding. The placements of ads have to be determining by something. The thing that determines the ad placement is what the advertiser offers to pay per click. When you submit your ad to Google you also submit it with a bid. These are an auction style process.
